My Stance:
Well it all started with Exquisite Captive, and from there I just fell in love with Heather Demetrios's style. But in this case the genre of the book is completely different and I want to put her style and writing to the test. I love the setup of this book, and the overall premise. Josh and Skylar have two completely differing issues, and the only connection is their job. I am curious to see how old the two are, I mean you tend to think that an ex-Marine would be in their 20s or 30s; I am just worried that the relationship will be awkward age wise. Okay I know that some ages aren't that big of an issue, but if you are 30 and the other is in their late teens it just seems creepy and almost wrong.
I like how the two seems to have their own personal lives that seem to be crumbling. In the case of Skylar she knows what she wants to do, and there are three weeks she needs to endure to make that happen. Josh being the ex-Marine has his life changed from war, and I can't fathom having to deal with the remains of what you have and what must be salvaged. I can't imagine dealing with the life changes and what choices they are both faced with. I am curious to see how the relationship works and what brings the two together.
