[Movie Review]
Every now and then there are a few books that become movies and I make my way out to them. I give my opinion on how the movie fared and while I am not an expert or anything on movies, I am tend to believe I am smart enough on the YA community to give my own honest opinion on the adaptation. If it's part of a series I will try to keep the movies linked together, for easier access.
[Book Playlists]
I bring you playlists brought to you by either the author of the book, Epic Reads or anything of the sort. I am looking for music that inspires the book, and adds some sort of addition to the book that wouldn't normally be there. In each and every playlist there should be depth, and something that adds to the world and the characters. The playlist should be as much a part of the book, and the book as part of the playlist.
[Book Trailers]
Book Trailers are an occasional segment, in which I bring a book that I have read and the appropriate book trailer (presented by the publisher or the author), and compare the two. Mainly it's a comparison of how the trailer relates to the book. How accurate the trailer is to the book and just what the trailer suggests that's different than the book. Furthermore I will try not to give out any spoilers, think of it as a teaser, and analysis of the trailer.
[Special Events]
Special Events are unique segments, and there won't be a set time in which these will appear. Mainly these will be my vacations, upgrades to bookshelves/library, book signings, and other unique events that I feel need to be shared. This isn't my gloating column, I want to spark interest in reviews coming, and show just what I've been working on while I have been away or gone for any segment of time.
[Challenges]
Every once in a while I'll go on challenges and try to read a series of books or a given list that I have to find books to match a set of criteria (you all should know the lists and whatnot going around). I'll try to keep everyone up to date on the books that fit into those challenges and give a direct link to the review of the book (when I get around to it).
