My Stance:
Plus one is one of those books that slipped under my radar, while I am not the best at picking out some of the books as they come out, I find that this story is rather great. I am not sure what it is about the plot and the synopsis that has me going, but this book just looks great. I love the cover as well and how it plays into the story as well. I find that an artist who can actually capture something like that and manages to grab my attention faster than anything before.
I love in this book how everything around Sol and the government is so well formed. While it doesn't say to how well the story will pan out, but it gives a good indication to the thought put into it. Frankly I am not sure how well the whole day/night separation will work, it seems like a cheesy way to create a conflict and get the story rolling. Further this seems like a book similar to The Giver, but I understand that it's not I know that. I love the setup and the plot for this book, I can't wait to add it to my collection.
