I got some books in first thing this week. The lot is rather unique and varies a bit. I am happy with the selection and without further discussion here is the list of the books that I acquired this week!

Zoe I would assume is part of a Cyborg community. I mean that would explain some of the technological and human integration developments. However no war, no pain seems a bit much. I mean it's human nature to want to hurt another group or feel some sort of pain. Without those two what is peace and happiness? I don't know, I'll assume its true though in this book.
After reading the synopsis again, I thought of The Hunger Games almost immediately. I mean there are this glitchers who technically aren't supposed to exist and yet here they are. What would the Community do to ensure that other people don't try to "free" themselves as well? The one worry I have is in the last bit of the synopsis, I hope there isn't a love triangle here...

The Fire is the third part of the Witch and Wizard series. And From what I've heard, James Patterson delivers and keeps on going. I can't wait to get around to the series. Until then I am happy to have the series on my shelf, and just hope that my hopes and expectations don't change when I finally get around to it.

The Raft has this survival instinct that seems to drive this book home, for the main point this is the whole reason I have been interested in this. Robie and Max I hope grow to have a good relationship and I hope they are around the same age, so they avoid the whole disgusting Fifty Shades years apart. I am curious to see if there will be a If I Stay type style to this book, by that I mean how memories of Robie's past are weaved in and bring me closer to understand Robie and more invested in her character. There is a lot about this book that has me interested already and I can't wait to crack it open.

Heaven is part of the Halo series, and even though I haven't technically started the series, I just can't seem to fight the urge to start this either. As well, the cover is gorgeous; well, except the girl floating down from Heaven I would assume or wherever. That pose she is doing just seems... painful. Anyways, I expect to get around to this series and hope to finish it, as soon as I finish Rapture from the Fallen Series.

Dark Companion has been on my list for a long long while. Jane has this detective appearance so far. When I read this I couldn't think anything else, Jane has this questioning personality that knows there's something wrong with the school that takes her in. Even though her life is turned upside down for the better, she knows there's just not something right about where she is. As well Jack and her friend Mary have other issues, and their mysterious characters give me nothing but intrigue into this book and questions that I hope will get answered when I get into the story.
