Thoughts:
This is the movie I have been looking forward to for a long, long while. When I read the book, it was mainly because the movie was just announced, afterwords I understood why the announcement came. The book is just fantastic and the trailer seems to play right into the book. I feel that the director is going to try to follow the book, which is a common theme now since some of the more current movies have been doing that and doing rather well. They also have Chloë Mortez who is a fantastic young actress, and I love to see her and the movies she plays in.There isn't much for me to gripe about in this movie, other than the dual perspectives seeming to be completely lost on me. I love how the book and everything just seems to come together. Okay, yeah, they did tone back some of the waves, but in all honesty the book's waves were just brutal, I am not saying that it's a good thing, but I haven't seen the movie yet. The feel of the movie is sort of Walking Dead like, but there's this urban, rebel fighting theme that seems to just permeate throughout the entire movie.
I am just going to start a countdown someplace, we'll get this going so the movie will get here faster. I honestly am looking forward to this beyond anything else at the moment.
