But Del’s decisions have unimaginable consequences and, as she begins to fall for the Echo Simons in each world, she draws closer to a truth that the Council of Walkers is trying to hide ~ a secret that threatens the fate of the entire multiverse.

My Stance:
I found a new enjoyment for Erica O'Rourke when I finished the Torn Trilogy. I kept her on my watch list for future books and frankly I am glad to add her to my Wish list. She's got a great potential in this synopsis. The idea that Delancy can navigate between all the different reality or alternate universes to reality is great. It reminds me of Fringe, and while I didn't watch or enjoy the show, I liked the premise.
Del strikes me as a girl who is like Mo in Torn, stubborn, independent, and wants to explore and experience the world for herself and not take as much advice from others. Not that she doesn't take advice, but rather the experience of doing it that frames her view. The part that gets me is the whole why doesn't the Council of Walkers want her to journey between the different universes and keep them in line. What does she fear or what is she causing?
The synopsis is great and while it doesn't give too much away it keeps me aware and interested in this book. I just hope I can see Erica again to get this book signed!
