My Stance:
There was something about how the synopsis read that gave me the idea of Fallen. Ashline seems like the kind of character that would be shocked and not understand completely why she is what she is, and I hope that's the case. It would just make her character a bit more interesting and add some depth there. Anyways, these demi-gods have me interested, what types of demi-gods are there? Ashline being a Volcano goddess, what does that mean? Can she make all the volcanoes erupt at once, spew lava from her fingers; there's lot options and possibilities here.
The prospect that there are groups that after the demi-gods and they both have differing opinions. This adds some depth to the plot and give a sense of fear, suspense, and most of all caution. What are these two groups after, by this I mean what is it that they want to do with the power?

My Stance:
This reminds me so much of Under the Never Sky, Eve just seems to embody Aria completely. I hope that this has some of the potential and power that Under the Never Sky had. Back to Eve, This book brings a bit of confusion to me as well, I haven't been part of a all boys school, so I don't exactly know what they would say about girls/boys, that would make someone afraid of the other. It just doesn't seem practical, but if there was something that happened to Eve that made her distrust the other, that would be make more sense.
Anyways, Eve has this potential to be a unique and different love story about a girl who doesn't know or frankly understand boys. I am curious to see what she thinks of them, and even more if she's afraid or curious. Curiousity would be better, but I think that's already been taken by Fifty Shades of Grey and we all know how that turned out. The choice though? I believe that's a bit much, I mean if there was someone hunting me, I would want to be with the people I cared about the most and wanted to protect, so that wouldn't be much of a choice for me.
